My 1st Sociology exam is tomorrow. You might be thinking to yourself - no biggie - HOWEVER I must point out that this is a Winter mini-mester. We have studied 6 chapters in 4 days.
Except for the professor, I am the oldest one there. I continually tell the youngesters to stay in school. Don't do what I did - get married, have babies and quit. A degree is very important which brings me to my 2nd stressful thing - I NEED A JOB.
I can't even get an interveiw with a good company without a paper degree. Despite having 23 years with American Airlines I can't get in. Everyone wants you to fill out an application online.
And they have some kind of filter that automatically leaves me out since I don't have a degree.
I am working very hard to get one though. I have settled on Social Work. I want to do something with kids. ECI? Or CPS? Something like that. I will be done with my Associates of Science degree at the end of Summer 2009.
So all you readers (what few there are) I need a job.
Oh and get this - my esteemed Sociology professor and he really is esteemed in his field has said the number 1 way to get a job is through Social Networking (we learned all about that today)
So - let's network.
I have 23 years of customer service and analytical experience. I am a team player and work will with others. I am detail oriented and am lots of fun to be around.
Resume and references available on request.
Happy Holidays!

I'm still praying that something comes along SOON.
Any company would benefit from your knowledge and experience....and enjoy being around the beautiful person that you are....both inside and out.
Love you ~ Lorena
