I did not get a callback for the office assistant job. Probably my sparkling personality was subdued because of nerves. All I know is it's Christmas and I have NOTHING for my kids.
I applied for assistance from the state of Texas and a family of 4 getting $378 a week in unemployment does not qualify. Even thought my rent and utilities is about that. I pray my kids don't get sick. I pray I find a job soon. I pray my mom loans me some money so I can put gas in my car to go to school and go to Keno tomorrow night.
On the plus side, my kids love me, we are warm for now and I have a grandbaby on the way.
